Simon Bulteel is the Founder/MD of Cooden ' R&D Tax Specialists. He is an FCCA registered accountant and has been solely focussed on R&D Tax Credits since he set up Cooden in 2013 and supports a plethora of SMEs. Prior to that he worked in practice with a small firm of accountants in East Sussex and a larger firm of accountants in Tunbridge Wells, predominantly in audit and corporation tax. It was at the Tunbridge Wells firm where a client developed a water purification system in a shipping container for the British Army, that his interest in R&D was piqued. It was reinforced with a 6-year spell as European Financial Controller at a top 5 Global Clinical Research Organisation where he initiated claims in France and the Netherlands as well as the UK and refined with a 14 month spell as a Finance Manager for a World Championship winning motorsport team.
